Ghosting Medium: A spirited move to open publishing

Ghosting Medium: A spirited move to open publishing

Greetings, dear readers!

I am thrilled to announce a spectral shift in my blogging journey. I've decided to "ghost" Medium in favor of a more open "medium" - Ghost. This uncanny move was prompted by my desire to align more closely with the principles of open publishing, something Ghost embodies commendably.

I found myself at odds with the closed ecosystem and paywall mindset of Medium. As someone who believes in the free exchange of ideas and knowledge, I was seeking a platform that shares the same ethos. Ghost, being an open publishing platform, seemed like the perfect fit.

This transition is also a signal of my commitment to take writing more seriously this year. By moving to Ghost, I am investing in a space that is conducive to continuous learning, growth, and sharing.

I must apologize in advance if you encounter any formatting ghouls or broken link specters during this transition. I assure you, I'm dedicated to making this move as seamless as possible for all of you. Should you stumble upon any issues, please don't hesitate to email me at hello@artful.dev. Your patience and understanding during this transition is greatly appreciated.

So, let's embark on this exciting new chapter together, embracing the spirit of open, unhindered communication and knowledge sharing.

Artfully yours,
artfuldev
